Cluster of Excellence »Energy-efficient Product and Process Innovations in Production Engineering« (eniPROD)

                                                                                                 

TThe Chair Micromanufacturing Technology is part of the high-technology cluster "eniPROD." Fields of activity include the "analysis and design of energy-efficient process chains," the "energy-efficient separating final forming and production of optimized surfaces," and the "resource- and energy-efficient product development."
 

Aims are in particular:

  • the energy-related analysis and modeling of processes and process chains for produce powertrain-components and energy-efficient design thereof,
  • the geometry- and function-related description of process steps for components to functionally serve as interfaces in VR-systems and the derivation of procedures to efficiently apply  manufacturing methods,
  • the production of tribologically optimized  surfaces via separating procedures, particularly with ECM and laser.
