Assembly Cell
 
  • Realisation of assembly processes with developed special grabs
  • Presentation of the possibilities of a modern automated assembly in practical courses for students

Follower Crank
 
  • Automatic path correction of an unsteady translated mechanisms by tracking the actuator on a given curve, cam plate design

Slider Crank
 
  • Dynamic correction of bearing play and elasticity of a real machine by suitable regulation structures
  • Implementation of a link mechanism with more than one drive

Model Mechanisms
 
  • Verification of the function of variable basic mechanisms with several drives, one master drive and three slave drives maximum

Linear Axis
 
  • Test of the optimized drive design based on different laws of motion

Haptic Feedback
 
  • Haptic clarification of the backlash from different unsteady translated mechanisms to a crank’s drive moment with contemporary visual simulation of the moved mechanism on the screen

Instrument Engineering Equipment
 
As illustrative material for the education and also for ideation with industrial partners the professorship has got about 500 display models of mechanisms. Partially they posses own drives or can be projected by an overhead projector. Examples of these models, which are also animated in video clips, you can find on our webpage or on the page of DMGLib.

For measurement in connection with assignments from the industry we possess two universal gauges CRONOS PL from the firm IMC Berlin plus a measurement- and control instrument cRio from the firm National Instruments.

Furthermore we have got several test stations with efficient servo motors and belonging Motion-Control (SPS) from the firm Siemens and Parker Hannifin plus flexible assembly portals from Bosch-Rexroth.
