SAXSIM Saxon Simulation Meeting

Mathcad-Workshop
organized by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Maik Berger

Motivation

Mathcad is used by leading engineers to perform, document and share calculation and design work. Due to its unique visual format and scratchpad interface that integrates standard mathematical notation, text and graphs in a single worksheet, Mathcad suits ideal for the collection of data, calculation re-use and the collaboration between engineers.

Mathcad is the standard for technical calculations. There are more than 2 million licenses worldwide used.

The Mathcad-Workshop provides the opportunity for active and potential users to exchange experiences. In addition, it is possible to enter into conversation with experts of PTC.

Chemnitz, with its tradition regarding mechanical engineering and the modern environment of the Technical University, is a suitable site for this event.

We look forward to enrollments of engineers, mathematicians, physicists and chemists from all scopes of application and in particular of students who are interested in an effective calculation tool. Thanks to the support of all sponsors, participation is free of charge!

News

The next Mathcad-Workshop takes place at the 16th April 2012. In order to present an appealing range of topics, we are going to publish a "Call for Paper" in autumn 2011 and we hope there will be interesting presentation offers.
