GfA Spring Congress 2011

57. Spring Congress of the German Society of Human Factors and Ergonomics (GfA – Gesellschaft für Arbeitswissenschaften e.V.): “Human, technology, organisation – Networking in the processes of product development and product manufacturing)"

March 23rd – 25th 2011, Chemnitz University of Technology, Professorship of Human Factors and Ergonomics

Invitation

The Professorship of Human Factors and Ergonomics at the Chemnitz University of Technology will carry out the 57th Spring Congress of the German Society Human Factors and Ergonomics from March, 23rd to 25th 2011. This time, the congress will focus on the topic “Human, Technology, organisation – Networking in the processes of product development and product manufacturing”. The GfA Spring Congress already took place in Chemnitz once before, in 1994, and now I have the pleasure of again inviting you to the “City of Modernity” in its 175th anniversary year. Since the industrialization, products have successfully been developed and produced in the Free State of Saxony. Especially the automobile industry has developed into one of the region’s most important economic pillars. At the congress, we would like to conjointly discuss the chances and challenges of networking between human, technology and organisation in today’s working world from the view of human factors and ergonomics. We are already proud to tell you, that we will be able to carry out a part of the event at the project house “METEOR – Human, Technology, Organisation®” which is currently under construction. At the 57th Spring Congress of the German Society of Human Factors and Ergonomics we will discuss current topics and research results. I sincerely invite you to submit topic propositions.
