If you are looking for the lecture rooms where the workshop is hold, see page "Location". The following information contains mainly how to get to Chemnitz itself.
For an overview of chemnitz and related airports see the picture provided at the bottom of this page. There are basically three possibilities to get to Chemnitz: by plane, by train or by car.
The airports located nearby are:

The airport in Altenburg provides a no direct shuttle service to Chemnitz, only to Leipzig and Borna. From Dresden and Leipzig you may travel via train, see the following point. This lasts from airport Leipzig about and from Dresden about 1,5 h.
If you fly to Berlin, Berlin-Tegel is probably your airport. There are also other airports! From Tegel you have a train connection (30mins) which you can find from their homepage under Arriving&Departing. From Berlin main station it is not too far to get to Chemnitz (2.5h, via Leipzig). However, you must check the time from the airport to the main station.
You may travel easily with train in Germany. E.g. you reach Chemnitz from Berlin in 2,5h. Please refer to www.bahn.de for details.
You reach Chemnitz via Autobahn on routes A4 and A72. We recommend exciting Chemnitz Nord (4km to the center of the city). The university is located in Straße der Nationen, very close to the main railway station.
