Working in Germany

While citizens of EU-member states, according to §2 FreizügG/EU, are permitted to take up an employment immediately after they have entered Germany, citizens of so-called “third countries”, which means that they originate from countries not belonging to the EU or to the European Economic Area, are only allowed to take up an employment if this is explicitly permitted by the Residence Permit.

If this is not the case and you intend to take up an employment in Germany please address as early as possible to the foreigners’ authority.
