As described in its Mission Statement the "Welcome Centre" at Chemnitz University of Technology is dedicated to support doctoral students and scientists from abroad during their stay so that they settle down rapidly and feel happy at Chemnitz. Following this objective on the one hand the "Welcome Centre" operates as the central contact point for advising international doctoral students and scientists, on the other hand it is organizing information and further training events. Finally it is also possible to participate at field trips.
