In a globalized world, international partnership is a crucial driver for innovation. Common research not only allows new scientific findings but also broadens ones intercultural horizon.
Chemnitz University of Technology strongly cooperates with partners from all over the world and especially from the People’s Republic of China. Numerous research partnerships - for instance with Fudan University, Beihang University or HongHe University - lead to excellent outcomes and new impulses for further progress.
Besides research, the exchange of students and doctoral candidates also plays an important role in the mutual efforts between Chemnitz University of Technology and its Chinese partners. Today, Chinese students form the strongest group of international students at Chemnitz University of Technology - and the interest in exchange partnerships is unbroken.
Chemnitz University of Technology recognizes the importance and the success of its cooperation with Chinese partners with the German Chinese Day on May 18th 2010. On this day, German and Chinese students will talk about their experience at the partner university and professors will present their research activities and results.
