Professorship Programming and Parallelism
The following heterogeneous cluster is installed at the Professorship Programming and Parallelism:
  • 6 nodes with 4 Opteron Dual Core processors each and a single node with 8 Dual Core Opteron processors connected via Infiniband and Gigabit ethernet
  • 16 nodes with dual XEON processors connected via SCI and Gigabit ethernet
  • 4 dual Sun UltraSparc III nodes connected via SCI und Gigabit ethernet
  • 1 frontend computer with 2 Dual Core XEON processors

The following hardware architectures are installed at the Professorship Computer Architecture Group:
  • A cluster consisting of 4 nodes with 2 AMD Opteron CPUs each; InfiniBand (SDR) network; Gigabit-Ethernet network
  • A cluster consisting of 8 nodes with 2 Dual-Core Intel Xeon CPUs ,,Woodcrest'' each; InfiniBand (SDR) network; Gigabit-Ethernet network
  • A cluster consisting of 8 nodes with 2 Intel Xeon ,,Netburst'' each; SCI network, 4 nodes with InfiniBand (SDR) network; Gigabit-Ethernet network
  • An IBM BladeCenter with a 1 Cell-Blade
  • A cluster consisting of 8 nodes with 2 AMD Athlon MP 1600+ CPUs each; Myrinet network; Gigabit-Ethernet network
