Simulation of a Car Wash

The simulation can be started by pressing the 'start' button. Pressing this button again stops the simulation.

The duration of the simulation can be entered in the field 'simulationtime' (specification in hours).
The number of arriving cars per minute can be set in the field 'arrivingrate'.
The field 'washingrate' set the serving rate of the Car Wash.

The menu right of the 'start' button allows setting the simulation speed:

  • realtime :
    simulation runs in real time
  • doublespeed :
    simulation runs with double speed
  • quadspeed :
    simulation runs with quad speed
  • fullspeed :
    simulation runs with maximum speed (without animation)

Changes of simulation time, arriving rate and serving rate impinge on the simulation after the next start. Choosing another simulation speed impinges also during a running simulation after the next event.
