Our research and teaching is based on the scientific and technological focus of Chemnitz University of Technology.
With this topic, we are at the interface of Economic, Organizational, and Social Psychology, because we use social psychological theories and methods and apply our findings to organizations and economic processes.
The research group for Economic, Organizational, and Social Psychology focuses
on two topics: First leadership and second,
performance and well being as shaped by rooms (e.g.,
offices, schools, hospitals). We examine different constructional conditions
like indoor climate and lighting conditions.
We are also collaborating with Prof. Dr.
Klaus Sedlbauer, Institute for Building Physics at the University of
Stuttgart, in a graduate program (www.people-inside.de).
