May - Dec. 1996 Research assistant in a project on the ergonomics of display design (Günther Kebeck, WWU Münster).
1996 - 1999 Vocational training in behaviour therapy (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Verhaltenstherapie).
1997 - 1998 PhD stipend from WWU Münster.
1999 - 2001 Research assistant at the Chair for General Psychology and Human Factors (Wolfgang Hell, WWU Münster).
2001 PhD from Gesamthochschule Paderborn; thesis on decision making under uncertainty.
June 2001 - 2006 Assistant professor at Technische Universität Chemnitz (at the Chair for General and Biological Psychology, Udo Rudolph).
