Welcome to the Chair of Automation Technology
Head of the chair is
Prof. Dr. Peter Protzel.
Our
research interests focus on intelligent autonomous systems and especially unmanned aerial systems in unstructured, cluttered indoor environments. We have been working on novel methods for biologically inspired navigation (SLAM) and environmental perception. Further research interests include classical approaches to visual SLAM (mono and stereo), flight control of complex aerial systems, and kinematics and pathplanning for ground based robots.
Our english pages are currently (May 2012) under construction. Please be patient.
NEW: We published information regarding our current work on a robust formulation for pose graph SLAM.
