EUCLIDE
The aim of EUCLIDE is to support the driver by developing an advanced driver assistant system (ADAS) for conditions of limited visibility.
EUCLIDE will develop a new, reliable integrated driver assistant support system, which will monitor the area ahead of the driver and will provide an effective support especially at night and in case of adverse weather conditions. This system will integrate the functionalities of radar and far infrared sensors resulting in a highly reliable and effective system. At the same time, a new enhanced multifunctional Human-Machine-Interface (HMI), based on the state of the art at EU level, will be developed. The main aim of the project is to address the strong societal needs of reducing the total number of accidents. Therefore, the proposed project will strongly address human factor issues.

FusionGuide - Die multimediale Lernplattform des Projektes ProFusion2
The FusionGuide project was initiated by the European PReVENT project ProFusion2 and is intended to serve as platform for engineers, scientists and people interested in the topic of sensor data fusion. It hosts information about algorithms, functions, applications and sensors in the field of data fusion. You will find material covering both: the fundamentals as well as the state of the art and more sophisticated data fusion methods.

ProFusion2 - A PReVENT Project
The major objective of ProFusion is to push the sensor data fusion techniques used in driver assistant systems beyond the current state-of-the-art. This will be done by setting up a modular and interoperable fusion architecture for multi sensor systems, which integrates diverse approaches (e.g. low and high sensor data fusion, algorithms for situation refinement etc.).

SAFESPOT
The integrated project SAFESPOT is working in the field of vehicle to vehicle (V2V) and vehicle to infrastructure (V2I) communication. This way, potentially dangerous situations can be detected in advance and accidents can be prevented.

SASPENCE - a PReVENT Project
The main goal of SASPENCE is to develop and evaluate an innovative system able to perform the Safe Speed and Safe Distance concept, that means to aid the driver in avoiding accident situations due to excessive speed or too small headway.

Research on Naturalistic Driving Studies
Naturalistic Driving Studies (NDS) are based on research within the natural driving environment. This way, authentic, driver-based data can be generated. General aim of these studies is to detect how people use vehicles in their every-day life and where they are in need of assistance.
