Materialsysteme der Nanoelektronik

Dr. Daniel Grimm's Curriculum Vitae

My major scientific interests are:

  • Development of field effect transistors based on strained semiconducting nanomembranes.
  • Fabrication and thermoelectric characterization of hybrid superlattice stacks.
  • Theoretical investigation of stability as well as transport properties in an electric and magnetic field of new types of single-walled carbon nanotubes.
  • Synthesis of individual SWCNT as well as oxide nanowires. Setup of electron-beam lithographic tools to successfully contact and measure the synthesized nanostructures.
