Research:

Profile:

  • analytic and numeric field computation (inhomogenous, retarded, three-dimensional fields, moved media, simulation of system sizes)
  • eddy current problems, run time procedures and skin effect in line systems and IC conductive strips
  • electromagnetic compatibility
  • methods and procedures:
  • finite element method
  • finite difference method
  • finite network method
  • moment method
  • finite network method for retarded fields
  • numeric computation of electrostatic fields with different dielectrics
  • computation of electrostatic fields with different boundary conditions
Current projects
  • numeric computation of the electrical characteristic values of arcs furnace
  • measurements of arcs furnace and development of own instrumentation, determination of the characteristic of the furnace
  • Co-operation with the company SMS MEVAC, Essen, a manufacturer of arc furnaces
  • in the context of current DAAD project:
    - a graduation for the investigation of the influence of the radiation of mobile telephones on the human tissue
    - co-operation with universities, institutes and partners in the industry from Iran with the investigation of arc furnaces
  • radiation patterns of high frequency electromagnetic waves in biological structures
  • field-theoretical investigation to the tear detecting
