According to preferences and qualification the emphasis of the research may be put:

 Students, who desire to work preferentially synthetic, may deal with the synthesis and spectroscopic analytics of novel monomers or functional (supramolecular, chiral) dyes and their behaviour in polymerization reactions and sol-gel-processes.

Students interested in theoretical or physical topics, may work on the analytics of solids (solid state NMR spectroscopy) or statistical analysis of LSE (Linear Solvation Energy) relations. There are also topics available comprising both synthetic and analytical aspects.

Diploma and Ph.D. students, who'd like to spend parts of their time with other work groups (or industrial cooperations), should express their wish at the earliest possible date in order to coordinate the topics
