9^th Ferrocene Colloquium

February 14 – 16, 2011

The 9^th Ferrocene Colloquium was held at Chemnitz University of Technology in February 2009 proceeding those held in Kassel (2003), Würzburg (2004), Heidelberg (2005), Frankfurt am Main (2006), Kaiserslautern (2007), Prague (2008), Düsseldorf (2009) and Bochum (2010).

In the past years the Ferrocene Colloquium has become a full meeting primarily for young researchers in the field of organometallic chemistry with main focus on metallocenes.

More than 100 participants from seven countries met in Chemnitz in order to present more than 20 lectures together with many posters. The best lectures and posters have been awarded. With Ian Butler, Gerhard Erker, Claude Lapinte and Ian Manners four outstandig scientist gave attractive lectures on different ferrocene related topics.

The 10^th Ferrocene Colloquium will be organized by the group of Prof. Dr. Matthias Tamm and will be held at TU Braunschweig (February 15–17, 2012).
