Inorganic Chemistry

Research

The research fields of the chair of Inorganic Chemistry are located between basic research areas (organometallic, metal-organic, and organosilicon chemistry; heteromultimetallic transition metal chemistry; electron transfer studies) and industrial applications (Inkjet printing, CVD, ALD, combustion-CVD, spin-coating, and spray-coating of conductive / semi-conductive patterns and layers (Cu, Ag, Au; Pd, Pt, Co, Ru; ZnO, SnO2 etc.); homogeneous catalysis (C,C cross-coupling); SAMs). Further topics are hybrid- and nanomaterials including metal (conductive) and metal oxide (semi-conductive, magnetic) nanoparticles and their embedding in polymers (electric and magnetic sensors). The research field solar energy / photovoltaic is completing our portfolio.

Detailed information and publications to actual fields of research are available at the homepage of the professorship.
