Information Session “Career Perspectives in Germany/Saxony”

Embrace your future – 1^st information session at TU Liberec!

On February 27^th 2013, we had our first information session about working and living conditions in Germany, in particular in Saxony, at TU Liberec. We were more than happy to see about 100 Czech students attending this event. After the Career Service was introduced as well as its project Transnational Career Service the second part of the presentation started. In this main part, the students were informed about major Saxon industries and companies including their economical success and development, their number of employees and current vacancies. Furthermore, the audience got to know about the salaries an employee can earn in the different branches mentioned. In the end of this part, the students learnt about living conditions in Germany, particularly in Chemnitz. The last part of the presentation was a short announcement of the Career Days that take place on April 24^th and 25^th 2013 at TU Chemnitz. The students were kindly invited to attend this event. After the session, Czech students had their chance to talk to us individually and showed great interest in the project.
